This is a story about the letter N! To make uppercase N, you make a line down and another line down this way. Now a line straight up. To make lowercase N, you start with a shorter line down, then come back up and curve around like this. Some things that start with N are . . . newt, nest, and nurse. Okay, now, here’s our story. Once upon a time, there was a nurse named Nella. One night, Nella the nurse was walking through a narrow park on her way home. She shone her night-light on her favorite Narra tree and noticed a new nest. Nella the nurse was astonished to see a neon newt napping. She noticed that the newt’s neck has a wound. The neon newt suddenly woke up and was surprised to see a human. Then Nella the nurse said, “Hi, I’m a nurse and I can take care of you.” Nella the nurse placed him on a napkin to be treated. Afterwards, Nella the nurse offered nuggets to the neon newt. After nine days the wound healed. Then the newt said, “Thank you for taking great care of me.” “You’re welcome!” answered Nella the nurse. “We must celebrate! How about a costume party?” “Yes, great idea!” agreed the neon newt. Can you guess what the costumes were? NINJAS! The End. N! What N words did you find in the story?
